A Massachusetts State Police trooper was injured following a head on crash in Marshfield Tuesday night.
The State Police Association of Massachusetts says that the crash took place at around 11:30 p.m. on Standish St. when the trooper, who was heading home, was struck by an impaired driver.
The trooper was hospitalized, but the association says his injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening.
The driver of the other vehicle, described as a Marshfield man in his late 20s, was arrested on scene by Marshfield Police.
The association says he is being charged with Operating Under The Influence and other related charges and was released on $240 bail.
