The Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield will be holding a collection Friday and Saturday to help people in Ukraine.
Marshfield resident Kathy Leonard told the South Shore’s Morning News the types of items they’re looking for.
Along with first-aid supplies, non-perishable pet food items and feminine hygiene products will be collected.
The Boys & Girls Club has teamed up with Molisse Realty Group to fill their 24-foot box truck with supplies. Deliveries will be made to the Marshfield Elks Lodge, which has a connection to get the supplies to the border of Poland.
The Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield will serve as the drop-off point and CEO Jim Bunnell explains how it will work.
Items will be collected from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Saturday at the Boys & Girls Club at 37 Proprietor’s Drive in Marshfield.
