There’s a heavy police presence next to Studleys Pond in Rockland. Currently, there are no divers in the water, but investigators were focusing on an area behind the CVS.
The Rockland Police Department said this is connected to the search of 27-year-old Brittney McCormack, a Hanover mother of two who has been missing since last summer. She was known to frequent the Brockton, Hull, Rockland, and Abington areas.
They’re following every possible lead, and have been searching along Union Point (the former Weymouth Naval Air Station) the past week.
In January, there was a heavy police presence along Forest Street in Rockland with the State Police air wing and numerous police vehicles near the intersection of West Pleasant Street.
Anyone with information about the disappearance of Brittney McCormack is asked to contact State, Hanover, or Rockland Police.
