State and Brockton Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a motor vehicle that was believed to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash.
According to a statement from the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, around 10 p.m. Monday night, State Police detectives were notified that a pedestrian was struck in the area of 108 Forest Avenue in Brockton.
A man was medflighted to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead of his injuries. He was not identified pending notification of next-of-kin.
The investigation is ongoing – and police are looking for a white SUV, with possible damage on the front driver’s side.
