In Halifax, two candidates were chosen to fill vacant seats on the Board of Selectmen.
With unofficial results, John Bruno, II was elected to a term expiring in 2025. He ran unopposed in the race, and had 2,666 votes.
Naja Robert Nessralla was elected to the other open seat with 1,039 votes.
Dennis Carman had 734 votes, Mary Gravinese had 580 votes, David Mascio had 532 votes, and William Smith had 229 votes.
The seats are open after former Chair Ashley DiSesa and Alexander Meade resigned in August. Meade was elected to the board in May.
Jonathan Selig was the lone Selectman since their resignations, and helped guide the town up to the election.
