Meet Sedona! Sedona is a three year old female who came to Standish Humane Society after having kittens. She has been fully vetted including a spay. Sedona would like a safe place to live: our friends at Standish tell us they often have cats that do not want to be your domestic pet but need a place to call home. You can welcome community cats into barns, stables, shops, stores, warehouses and more. They will keep your space free of mice, rats and other rodents and in return you provide daily food, water and shelter. Standish will spay, neuter and vaccinate these cats for you. There is a small amount of up front work where the cat needs to be crated so it learns where it lives, but after a short amount of time, the cat will stay where it is fed. If you want to “hire” one of their working cats, call or fill out an application. To adopt Sedona, please fill out an application and write TO HIRE A WORKING CAT in the comments HERE.
