Since making the move to the Patriot League, the Marshfield Rams football team has been as good as advertised.
A 21-8 mark over the past three years and an appearance in the 2021 state semifinals highlight the Ram’s resurgence under Chris Arouca.
The new season brings much change, however, with a big senior class giving way to a young group of players thrust into starting roles.

Senior Nic Cupples will be tasked with leading the team as it’s lone captain.
Coming off a junior campaign in which he accounted for 620 all-purpose yards and 7 TD, Cupples will feature prominently in an offense once again that will be all about tempo.
Cupples took time to stop in with us after practice and discuss the upcoming season, as well as what he needs to do as captain to get things moving in the right direction.
