One disgruntled gentleman wrote in for some guidance on feeling resentment towards his spouse:
Dear Hingham Housewife:I’ve been retired for about seven years and while I enjoy spending more time on my hobbies such as fishing and golfing; I am resentful that my wife continues to work. We’re financially independent and she could retire if she wanted. But she says likes getting out of the house five days a week and enjoys the job. However, I am feeling lonely and neglected. Is it wrong for me to feel that way? Do you think she could cut back? I would appreciate your advice.
