There were three contested races in Saturday’s Bridgewater town election.
Sean Kennedy beat incumbent District Three town councilor Frederick Chase Jr., 468 to 355.
Town Councilor at Large Kevin Perry was reelected to a three-year term receiving 1,009 votes. Marilee Hunt won an open seat with 1,206 votes, beating Raechel Daly who had 474 votes.
John Loretti Jr. won a one-year town council seat, defeating challenger Tim Christiansen, 1,071 to 847.
Andrea Thomas topped the Bridgewater/Raynham regional school committee race to represent Bridgewater with 836 votes to beat Alison Conroy who had 503 votes, and Catherine MacDonald, 353, for a three-year term.
There were two uncontested races.
Daniel Gouthro was elected as Rayham’s representative on the regional school committee with 1,311 votes.
Nancy Sarno, with 1,446 votes, Danielle Oliari, 1,482 and Janet Dye receiving 1,434, were elected as library trustees.
There were 2,136 ballots cast, or about an eleven percent turnout, in Saturday’s election.
