Braintree incumbent councilor-at-large David Ringius was reelected in Tuesday’s election.
He will be joined by newcomers Julia Flaherty and Ryan Sterling.
In two contested races, newcomer James Daiute (Di u tee) defeated Robert Cuddyer in district one.
District 5 incumbent Meredith Boericke fended off challenger Robert Toma.
Other incumbent councilors reelected were Joseph Reynolds in District 2, Elizabeth Maglio in District 3, Annmary Quilty in District 4, and Peter Morin in District 6.
In the school committee race, incumbent Kathleen Tuffy was reelected along with newcomers Marc Kurzberg and Stacy Donohoe.
Electric light board incumbent Thomas Reynolds won reelection, Sean Powers and Kimberly Dragoo won the other two open seats.
Housing authority incumbent Albion Fletcher Junior was defeated by challenger Lucille Cassis.
Thayer Library trustee incumbents Jeffrey Kunz, Valerie Sheehy, Margaret Morton, and Timothy Carey were reelected.
