The state Supreme Judicial Court rejected Marshfield’s lawsuit challenging the MBTA Communities Act.
The court handed down the decision on Sept. 18th.
Town counsel Robert Galvin went before the SJC in March arguing that the law is an unfunded mandate and that it forces residents to vote in favor of it.
